Don't worry! If the item is one-time or episodic in nature, our amazing clinical team will write a prescription for it. For example, some prescriptions, such as a UTI, chlamydia, or emergency contraception will be for a short course and will not come with refills.
We celebrate diversity, with over 1 in 3 of our clinicians identifying as transgender, nonbinary, genderqueer, gender diverse, or two-spirit, and nearly 4 in 5 as bisexual, gay, lesbian, pansexual, or queer.
Sign up for a FOLX membership and book an appointment with a trans health specialist clinician.
Your clinician will work with you to figure out a care plan that fits your goals.
Get your meds shipped to your door with FOLX or have them sent to the pharmacy of your choice.
We'll ensure you get your refills on time and check in with you on your progress. You can always book another visit as needed.
Yes! We are so happy to announce that FOLX clinicians can be your primary care providers. You can make an appointment with a FOLX clinician to talk about any number of topics–from birth control, to smoking cessation, to sexual health.
After you sign up for a FOLX membership, you'll be able to book an appointment at a date and time that work for you with the clinician of your choice. You'll receive a link to your virtual visit ahead of time in a confirmation email and can save the appointment to your calendar.
We recommend finding a quiet, private space to have your visit where you won't be interrupted during your consultation. It helps to come prepared with a list of questions or topics you'd like to discuss as it's easy to forget these during the consultation, so having them written down can be very helpful.
If your clinician decides a prescription is needed, they can send it to the pharmacy of your choice. If you have insurance, you may be able use insurance to pay for your medication depending on your plan and what pharmacy you use.
FOLX offers our members a negotiated rate to Quest Diagnostics and so sends most of our members to one of their facilities for labs. Members have the option to pay FOLX directly (out of pocket) for their lab fees. If you have insurance, and would prefer to use it to pay, you can do so when you arrive at the testing facility to get your labs performed.
If you do not go to a Quest facility to perform your labs, you will need to provide payment in person (either out of pocket or insurance) when you arrive to perform your labs. FOLX will not have any control over the prices at other facilities.
