Disability, Chronic Illness, and Pain

Join us for a panel on disability and chronic pain. So many of us in the LGBTQIA+ community experience disability, as well as a profound lack of care from the legacy healthcare system. We also have a deep history of caring for each other, as both disabled and queer people. From endometriosis to ableism, intersectional identities to invisible disabilities, part-time wheelchair use to how transition impacts our healthcare experiences, and so much more, we'll get into it. We'll also discuss strategies for navigating the healthcare system and deepening our systems of care for each other.

Sum of Us is a 4-day, 3-night camping festival. Sum of Us is a reimagined well-being space for people seeking queer community, the creatively inclined, individuals exploring gender and sexuality, and everything in between.
